Idea: remake the James Bond films. But change their setting to the 1950s. Do away with the “spectacular” action stuff. Instead, turn the films into suspenseful spy thrillers. Close to the novels—in fact, EXACTLY like the novels (minus the blots of dated racism). Start with MOONRAKER.
